A blubbering fool I am...

Hearts fly: 8 x 10 acrylic & mixed media on canvas board

I am in a bit of a funk today. Most days, I take what's dished out as well as the next person, but every now and then, the weight of my worries and my life and sadness just gets the best of me. I had a good cry this morning, and thought that would be the end of it, but sometimes when I let the flood gates open, it floods. And that seems to be what's happened today. Everything I see, and read, and feel is bringing me to tears --happy tears, sad tears, sentimental tears. Pathetic. Not a good way to go about work.

And this video was one of them.

Sometimes, tears are JUST what I need... and they make a great watercolor effect when they drip down over acrylic paint. lol

Mucho love coming your way!

Namasté,

Carmen

P.S. That painting is incredible!

Cry away. It is a wonderful and open heart that is able to feel and then cry (for joy, sorrow, and all that's in between)!

=) But, here's a HUG, too -- because this heart thinks yours might need one.

Crying is cleansing and we should never not cry. Enjoy your day of tears and believe it is bringing you better days ahead.
Hugs to you. (((Kerri Jean)))

Kerri, the tears are necessary for us to cleanse our souls of the worries and sadness that comes with life. What takes their place is usually a freedom to move to someplace better.

I LOVE the colors in this new heart. It speaks volumes to me.

Much love
Peggy

You're springcleaning! I'm sure you will feel so much better for it too. Wish I lived closer and we could go for coffee and a yak.
Hugs and nurturing thoughts. This too shall pass.

Amazing heart!!! I've been browsing through my Jim Dine book. Gorgeous hearts there too. Google Jim Dine's heart series when you have a mo.
