My D-I-V-O-R-C-E became final today (actually yesterday!!)
My divorce is official! The long-awaited paperwork with the official red seal arrived in the mail last evening! And per the New York State Supreme Court, I "may resume use of my premarital surname."
I want to thank you all for your notes of support, encouragement, and most of all, laughter. I am a very fortunate woman!!

Congrats Kerri. I am beginning to know the feeling of freedom too. Of course our circumstances were different but now we are both really "single" again. Is there a special group for us? I want to join. Much happiness in your new life and in 2011. I'm looking forward to it too.
