feeling accomplished

For me, it really doesn't take much. I love it when I actually complete all (or most) of the things on my to do list. For the adrenaline junkie, this kind of weekend would rank a giant zero, but for a compulsive list maker (and checker-off-er) it was just what I needed.

I don't always love the rain, but in this case, it was a gift. It eliminated the dilemma of choosing between inside and outside chores. My lawn already desperately needs mowing, but... oh well. It's too wet. So I tackled my spring cleaning. There is nothing exciting about putting up window screens, washing comforters, and cleaning out closets, but there is, for me, a feeling of satisfaction when these totally un-sexy but necessary chores get done.

And I had time leftover to do all of the prep for my cousin's wedding invitations. As usual. when I agreed to make these, I had months, and now I have weeks. Maybe two. But on the plus side, I am not the bride!! :o)

Kerri, the invitations look beautiful…..a great big job! And if you're anything like me, you work best under pressure! AND your house is ready for spring, more than I can say! I need sun to work around the house….it's shinning now, but guess what?, not cleaning today!

Rain is so cleansing and you cleaning house and closets is much more than zero. Lovely wedding invitations you are creating. Love the girl with the polka dot umbrella and background. Polka Dot Bliss...

Loving the invitations Kerri. I totally understand the procrastinating. I do it all the time. Somehow you always come through though for those things that are really important and to have a clean house on top of all the rest is a very good feeling. Kudos. Enjoy!

It's a great feeling to bask in all the cleanlines after you’re done with all the necessary house-cleaning. Congrats for getting all the chores completed ahead of time. Maybe you could share us some tips on how you got it all accomplished quickly and thoroughly? Have a great day!
