I spent a wonderful day in my garden on Sunday, cleaning up and readying my pots for herbs and flowers. Though I am impatient to have them, I will be waiting until mid-May, when threats of frost in upstate NY have passed. Meanwhile, I am just enjoying temperatures above freezing, open windows, singing birds and sunny days.

Oh yes the hope of new growth and flowers blooming and birds singing really makes the work of cleaning up winter's debris much more enjoyable. We also wait until mid-May for new plantings as it usually snows around Mother's Day. Happy Spring and Birds Who Sing...
