Under the snow...
While cleaning sticks and debris from my lawn this week (which has finally revealed itself after this long, long, winter), I found this lace-y piece of decayed paper trash, and I thought it was quite beautiful. I am going to make it the focal point of an art piece. It reminds me of handmade paper with inclusions. Mother nature, a total bitch for sure, but also the most inspiring artist...

What an amazing find to be certain. I have been shoveling snow from the drive and never found anything interesting. I await your art piece utilizing this beautiful tattered paper. Happy weekend to you...
This is awesome. I am anxious to see how you used it. A couple of years ago I purposefully placed some material out in the garden to allow Mother Nature to "weather" - and then totally forgot about it! LOL! I am sure it went the way of the yard waste bin when my dh cleaned out the flower beds the next Spring! Oh well, maybe I'll find a treasure like you did! Happy Spring!
Blessings,
Tricia
I can't wait to see what you do with this wonderful piece of ?
Great find!
At least you didn't have to tackle anyone for this piece, Kerri...a one-of-a-kind for sure!
