A glimpse of summer around my house...

I am really loving the summer this year. Even with all the rain, we've have relatively cool evenings until this week, and I love opening the windows wide and listening to the birds singing outside my windows.

And Cutes (my niece's nickname)is doing well. She's had all of chest tubes removed and is slowly being weaned from pain meds, ventilator, etc. Next week, I have will have a Cutes-related giveaway. Stay tuned!!

Have a good weekend all!

Hi Kerri Jean: What great news about cutes! I swear your smile in your photo is as bright today as the beautiful flowers around your home. I love the wicker sofa and its art deco cushion. I shall check out your link to your sewing friend. So good to have you back.
I was thinking of you yesterday especially as I was at our local Ben Franklin listening to a Golden products demo. I am not an artist with paints but I love to experiment and now have some gels and proper acrylics for mixed media. I will try some in my art journal next week. :o)

Hi Kerri. I saw you outside tending to your yard last week as I drove by. It looks great and I too love the cushion on the wicker sofa, but the chairs made out of fencing really caught my eye. They are great!

Also, so glad to hear about cutes.
Continued prayers for you all.
